About Clinch Valley Treatment Center
Clinch Valley Treatment Center located in Cedar Bluff, VA provides a State Funded rehab program. Detailed description details:
Clinch Valley Treatment Center provides a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for opioids.
Clinch Valley Treatment Center uses a combination of medication, counseling, and behavioral therapy to treat opioid addiction.
Medications used in the MAT include: Buprenorphine; Unlike methadone treatment, which must be performed in a highly structured clinic, buprenorphine is the first medication to treat opioid dependency that is permitted to be prescribed or dispensed in physician offices, significantly increasing treatment access.
Methadone; Methadone works by changing how the brain and nervous system respond to pain. It lessens the painful symptoms of opiate withdrawal and blocks the euphoric effects of opiate drugs such as heroin, morphine, and codeine, as well as semi-synthetic opioids like oxycodone and hydrocodone.
Naltrexone; Naltrexone blocks the euphoric and sedative effects of drugs such as heroin, morphine, and codeine. It works differently in the body than buprenorphine and methadone, which activate opioid receptors in the body that suppress cravings. Naltrexone binds and blocks opioid receptors, and is reported to reduce opioid cravings. There is no abuse and diversion potential with naltrexone.
Office Hours: 5 am - 1 pm

CVTC has helped me so much. I’ve been sober little bit over 8 years, the nurses care about helping you and making sure that your health is staying well also. The counselors are more than just addiction recovery, they will be there to talk to or even a phone call away, groups are helpful you know you are not alone just trust the process and their steps and keep faith, you got this.
